Tim Smith

Managing Partner

Tim Smith has over 30 years of experience in Non Profit Administration, Management and Fund Development. Having served as a Chief Development Officer in Nonprofit Organizations providing a wide range of expertise and resource in Nonprofit leadership and management.

Tim has served a variety of roles in executive non-profit leadership for mega size organizations.

Tim serves as Founder and CEO for Non Profit DNA, a boutique firm committed to helping non-profits build their capacity through fundraising, leadership, team building, staff recruiting and coaching.

Mike Meyers

Consultant

Mike believes that leadership and fundraising capacity are vital competencies where nonprofits need to invest.

Previously, Mike served in the roles of Chief Development Officer for two large nonprofits and most recently as the CEO of Food for the Hungry. During his time at Food for the Hungry, Mike led global strategic planning and helped to more than double the private income resulting in more support going to some of the worlds most vulnerable. He has over 20 years of nonprofit experience in fundraising and leadership within organizations and as a consultant. During the last 20+ years Mike has been involved in nonprofit work in over 60 countries and raised funds on 6 continents.

Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Kansas State University in 1996 and a Master of Arts in Theology and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Nazarene Theological Seminary.

Lisen Tammeus Mann

Communications

Lisen Tammeus Mann has more than 20 years’ of experience in nonprofit marketing and fundraising. She has a passion for developing volunteer engagement models to grow advocacy and financial support for an organization’s mission.

The majority of Lisen’s career has been in alumni relations and development in higher education. She served more than 10 years as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Advancement at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, managing a staff of 17 and directing annual giving programs, alumni and volunteer communications and programs, signature events, strategic marketing, database management, and nearly 60 alumni, constituent and volunteer boards.

Jeremy Reis

Consultant

Jeremy Reis is the Vice President of Marketing for CRISTA Ministries, a family of five ministries. At CRISTA Ministries, he manages the team responsible for marketing, artist partners, direct mail and digital fundraising. Jeremy is on the Advisory Council for Christian Leadership Alliance where he serves as a member of the strategy leadership.

Jeremy’s worked in a variety of corporate, consulting, and nonprofit roles. He started his career on the tech side and after finishing his MBA at The Ohio State University, jumped over to marketing with nonprofits. He understands and speaks fluent geek, while being able to translate real business needs into actionable plans. Jeremy blogs at NonprofitFundraising.com.

Jeremy lives near Franklin, Tennessee with his wife Jennica and nine children.
